Thursday Feb 19, 2026
Thursday Feb 19, 2026
Guest: Devins Jackson, Pastor of The Body of Christ Church (Huntsville, AL)
Episode Description:
In this episode of The Fellowship Podcast, host Randy Harp sits down with Devins Jackson, senior pastor of The Body of Christ Church in Huntsville, AL.
He shares about growing up in the shadow of tragedy after his father was murdered when he was just nine years old, and how those early years shaped his faith and resilience. He reflects on being raised in a small church that only met on the second and fourth Sundays because the pastor rotated between congregations, giving him a unique perspective on ministry from an early age. He also talks about the challenges of planting a church just before a global pandemic, navigating uncertainty while building a new work. In addition to serving as a bi-vocational pastor, he shares about his “side gig” as a college golf coach and golf professional, and how those roles intersect with his calling to shepherd people.
Whether you’re a pastor, missionary, ministry leader, or simply passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission, this conversation will encourage you that God can and will use anyone.
