Guest: Michael Haley, Pastor of Cross Creek Church (Fountain, CO)
Episode Description:
In this episode of The Fellowship Podcast, host Randy Harp sits down with Michael Haley, senior pastor of Cross Creek Church in Fountain, CO.
Michael shares about growing up in a pastor’s home alongside his identical twin brother and how those early experiences in ministry shaped his understanding of the local church. He recounts a humorous story about meeting his wife while they were both students in Bible college, a relationship that began in the halls of ministry training and eventually led to a lifetime of serving the Lord together. Before becoming a pastor, he spent thirteen years serving as a youth pastor in three different churches, seasons that helped develop his heart for discipleship and leadership.
He also reflects on the transition that brought him to Fountain, Colorado, where he now pastors Cross Creek Church. In the conversation, he talks about his love for adventure and the ways those experiences have intersected with ministry. From hiking the rugged stretches of the John Muir Trail to summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kenya to help raise funds for MANNA Worldwide, he shares how these journeys have provided opportunities to serve others and expand the reach of the gospel.
In addition, he discusses his work as an author and the process of writing several books, offering insight into how the Lord has used writing as another avenue for ministry and encouragement. Throughout the conversation, he reflects on the people, places, and experiences that have shaped his calling and continues to guide his leadership today.
Whether you’re a pastor, missionary, ministry leader, or simply passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission, this conversation will encourage you that God can and will use anyone.
